skateboarding equipmentI know that when most people think about skateboarding equipment there are some things like skateboard decks, or perhaps pads and protective skateboarding equipment that pops into their minds at first thought. For me, however, as of late I have been really relying upon something that is not really skateboarding equipment, but that has proven to be an essential piece of gear for me: my mini DV camcorder. I say that this is like skateboarding equipment because my best friends and I have been really busy over the past six months busting out fat tricks using our skateboarding equipment and capturing it all on film with my awesome DV camcorder. We are nearly through gathering enough footage of us landing some pretty sweet tricks to compile a skate video. Oddly enough, this will be the first skating video that we have made since high school, after reconnecting at a social gathering and taking up skateboarding once again earlier last year. Now we are finally back to where we were at with our skills on our skateboarding equipment, and our video is nearly completed!
