Late Cold Front Allows Us to Enjoy Outdoor Camping on Arizona's Desert |

This weekend we went outdoor camping and had a wonderful time. Our spring in Arizona has been exceptional and we have had fairly cool weather to date. This weekend was no different. A rare cold front came through, so we brought along warmer clothes and our winter sleeping bags that we usually use when we're outdoor camping in the desert during the winter. It was worth it to go outdoor camping this weekend because we found a great spot and took a lot of pictures of the palo verde trees blooming and plan to upload them to photographic websites where we might be able to sell the photos or earn royalties for a small residual income.
Combining outdoor camping with fun ways to make a few bucks down the road is my idea of a good time. We set up camp in a hollow to avoid the strong winds that always come with cold fronts and had a great campfire on Saturday night. We found plenty of trees to photography and the clouds that came with the cold front were just the perfect background for the palo verde blooms. This is the last of our outdoor camping on the desert for the season, and we were just glad we had a chance to photograph the spring beauty close to home.
