This past weekend my best friends and I went on our very first resort camping trip. When my best friend called me two months ago to ask if I wanted to go with the rest of them on a resort camping trip, I wasn’t really sure. She said she’d found some great rates online and she thought it would be a fun trip for all of us. Plus, we’d all been under a lot of stress with our jobs and thought it would do us all good to get away together. I figured we didn’t have anything to lose and we probably would have fun, so I told her to sign me up, and I’m so glad that I did. The entire weekend at the resort camping place was so much fun. We sat out by the fire in the evenings, and we spent most of the days reading by the pool and just enjoying the sunshine. It was so fun to laugh with the girls and to not have to think about work and we all left there feeling as though we could have stayed another week. We’ve promised to come back to the resort camping at least one more weekend this summer and more if we can get away with it.
