Long Vacation from Skateboarding Equipment |

As a teen, almost every single clear day after school was dominated by skateboarding equipment. Once I went to college this hobby sort of fizzled out and disappeared. After graduation, I ended up at the summer X-Games where I won a free skateboard deck after answering a question. That then inspired me to go online and buy skateboarding equipment. That board then sat in my car or bedroom for a solid year. I used it once in awhile with a couple of friends. Then after routinely heading down a local jogging trail full of bikers, joggers, skaters and couples walking the dog, I decided it would be really fun to buy larger wheels for my deck to take me to the trails end.
From what I heard, the trail went for at least a couple more miles farther than I ever jogged. The larger wheels would help me glide down the path swiftly without sticking in any cracks in the cement. So I did. I found a great online store, made the buy and installed my new skateboarding equipment. The trail did end in a couple of miles but it has been really fun scooting down the roads again.
