A few days ago my son and husband suggested over dinner that we all take an outdoor camping trip. I will be the first to admit that this idea doesn’t exactly appeal to me, but the idea of having the entire family together in one place does. My daughter immediately turned her nose up at the idea of the outdoor camping adventure until I suggested that maybe her boyfriend could come along. Then she changed her tune. I knew that my thoughts and attitude would set the pace of the outdoor camping adventure so I decided to jump at the chance. I knew it would be fun and adventurous and that my husband would enjoy having us all together as a family. The truth is I think it’s been so long that we did any traveling as a family that it was something that we’d all enjoy. After dinner dishes were done, I went online in search of outdoor camping gear and it didn’t take me long to find what we needed. I placed an order for several things and now all we have to do is wait for it to arrive and set the date.
