resort camping, outdoor camping I live in Southern California and for the holidays, I went to the Southwest so as far as winter goes it has been a very sunny one. I would love to see some snow outside of the gridlock of highways, businesses and billboards. Resort camping seems like a pretty viable solution. None of my outdoor camping gear is really rated to brave super cold nighttime temperatures. A new cold weather sleeping bag, thermals and winter camping stove online would get me to where I need to be to brave the winter elements but I would rather enjoy resort camping.

Somewhere there is a steaming hot tub overlooking a snowy hillside, I need to find. This is of course just a dream. I have no plans of making it happen unless we can get up to a roommate’s cabin a couple states north. So far we don’t have a driver and my worn tires won’t make the journey. I figure that dreaming about resort camping in the next couple of months may make it easier to actually happen. I will see. If not it will be out to the woods again after the temperatures start warming up.
