outdoor living


We enjoy outdoor living on our back patio. It's as though we have an extra room added on to the house since my husband built the porch. The back porch is beautiful with timber poles and a solid roof. Two ceiling fans circulate the air and my husband installed a flat screen television. Often, in the evenings we will eat dinner on the table outdoors and then watch a show or two before retiring for the night.

Outdoor living on the back patio also includes entertaining friends and family. The back porch spans the entire length of our home. There is enough room to set up three full size rectangular tables with eight chairs around each one. My husband and I decorate the back patio with seasonal lights that hang around the perimeter. It makes the whole scene rather festive, warm and inviting.

Our dogs spend a good deal of time outside the house. They appreciate the concept of outdoor living with the help of that patio cover. In inclement weather or the summer heat that is where you find them. Every morning when I come into the kitchen I see the dogs all curled up right next to the patio french doors. Our entire household enjoys outdoor living on our back patio!
