Ecuadorian Resort Camping in an Eco Lodge |

I love to "rough it" and camp out in the wilderness. However, some wilderness situations are better for resort camping. For example, I will be visiting Ecuador to see the Amazon Rain Forest. The Amazon is the ultimate jungle experience for any adventurer. It sometimes takes a lifetime to get to know a small fraction of the Amazon, so it's smart to stay at an eco lodge. A lodge blends in to the overall atmosphere and is made to accommodate the ecosystem that it's in. Eco lodges are environmentally friendly, so I definitely wouldn't mind supporting their cause. This type of resort camping is much more practical for locations, such as the Amazon Rain Forest. Many eco lodges come with professional guides with extensive local knowledge of the area. I'm excited because I'll get to see animals that I've never laid eyes on before, like different species of toucans, parrots and freshwater dolphins. I think resort camping at an eco lodge in Ecuador will be an exciting experience that will expand my insights of the world and educate me on an entirely different ecosystem.
