Five years ago I got my first taste of resort camping. The resort was an amazing place in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Since that first time of resort camping, I have given up my tent, the hard ground, and mosquitoes for indoor swimming pools, incredibly comfortable camps, and even a cool bathrobe. I don't know why they gave out bathrobes, but I have three of them.

My wife wanted to go camping to a new place five years ago. We usually go to a nice quiet spot on the banks of a picturesque river that is a pretty hardy seven mile hike. However, she thought it would be fun to go
someplace else for once and let the kids experience something different. Don't you love the way she used the kids? Anyway, we went online to find a camping area and found a listing for a resort camping ground. Since we
have never seen, heard, or experienced anything like this we decided to give it a try. The weekend was incredible. Sure, it cost a little more than hiking out in the woods, but the kids had a great time and I got
three bathrobes!
